hi everyone not a full audioholic yet but trying to become one im looking to by a receiver im looking at the onkyo tx-nr808 just woundering if anyone has heard it or has it also has anyone tried to hook up two power subs to it thats one of the reasons i like its 7.2 it also got great reviews just wondering how good onkyo is and who is good new here and would like some info thanks

If it has the features you need it will sound fine as will Yamaha, Denon, etc. From what I have read, Onkyo has a pretty good reputation here on the forum.

Any receiver can be converted to use two subs. All it takes is a simple, inexpensive "Y" connector.

And, some subs offer a pass through output. Mine does.
