Not really A/V related but it does have a very nice sound system despite it being Bose branded. ;) I got my new apartment in Scottsdale and capped it off with another new toy. Gadgets are fun and it has more gadgets than a BMW that costs more than twice as much. I actually cross-shopped this car with BMW, Mercedes, and Lexus and while the Mazda 6 doesn't have as much horsepower it looks and feels at least as expensive as any $60,000 BMW or Merc and it is fun to drive. I absolutely love it!

Full LED headlights with auto high-beams that turn around corners, BMW i-Drive like control system that is super intuitive, heads-up display, white leather seats, and radar cruise control that is possibly the best invention ever! Now I just need to rebuild my home theater. I'm still watching the 42" Vizio. I hope to get a pair of B&W 804 Diamonds and a nice receiver to start. Then I plan to upgrade to the 65" LG 4K OLED and add the matching center and surrounds. Things are coming along.

Congrats! Nice family hauler with fun ride.
Then I got my new 2015 Subaru outback 3.6 in this feb, I needed AWD (sh!t got really scary few times, almost loosing control driving over snowy roads) and more room.
Quite happy with it. It's about as fast as your new mazda, but fuel consumption is higher, I get about 23-24 mpg on highway

Yeah AWD is not high on the list of requirements here in AZ. ;) I can get about 40 MPG on the highway but since I am doing mostly city driving I'm averaging about 26 MPG which isn't bad considering I'm generally not light on the throttle. I have never had such a short commute (less than 5 minutes) and I actually find myself driving out of my way at times just so I can drive more.

I am a little concerned about keeping the white leather looking nice over time. I just ordered some Lexol leather cleaner and conditioner after doing a bit of research. We'll see how that goes. Next project is to get window tint. That should make a difference in the heat. Finding this color combo with all the options I wanted proved difficult and I had to wait for this car to be shipped in from California and apparently they don't put window tint on every car like they do here.

2.5 miles, three traffic lights, and a roundabout. :) If there wasn't an airport in the way it would be even shorter.

Sweet ride, looking at CX-5 for the wife.

On the tint, being in AZ look at something like 3M's Ceramic Series (or other brand equivlent).

Good choice on the Lexol, it's what I use.
