First off I'd like to apologize. I hate making my first post at places asking for help, but unfortunately I don't have much help to offer.
I've always been an audiophile at heart, just never really had the money or equipment. However, I'm moving out into a new apartment soon so I figured now's better than never to start.
This system will be for my computer, which I use mostly for listening to music. I don't game much, and only occasionally watch movies/the like. I also have been dabbling in creating music, so something that would give off good results with that would be ideal, as I'd like to really engage in it further.
I need recommendations on the soundcard and speakers to get. Price isn't a huge issue, I'd say under $500 for the soundcard and $1000 for the speakers/subwoofer/et cetera. >.>
