new subwoofersfrom TSC performance that sounds to good for the $$

TSC, abbreviatted for True Speaker Company has released the announcement of "coming soon" for there slot fireing subs and both feature class D amplifiers. One cost 250 and has front firing 10" aluminum cone driver with 250rms. The other sub cost 380 has dual 10" side firing drivers with a slot port featuring 300 watts rms. Both are affordable and have features that are unbeatable for the there price. here is the link to the subwoofers

What do you guys think of TSC new series of subs, this is there first line to feature entry level true home theater performance. I don't know if TSC will pull off a good reputable subwoofer because it seems like they specialize bookshelfs and floorstanding. TSC does have a series of subwoofers but they seem low end and more of an upgrade from a htib sub from a mediocre sub type subwoofer.

what are your guy thoughts on this new series.

Tom Andry (one of the associate editors on staff here) said some good things about tSC. Their in-walls look a good bit like Monoprice speakers even though the crossovers are definitely different.

the T300 Subwoofer has dual 10" drivers, no subwoofer has dual 10" for that price or anywhere near it, do you think these will good bass extension

Can't speak for the new models but I'm very happy with my ASW-8 in the bedroom. They are really all I need for a second system in a smaller room.

The T-250 looks like the older Acoustic Research subs. I wonder if these are designed from scratch by TSC or if they are older designs from other companies that have been discontinued and tweaked a bit. Even so they are very promising at these prices.

My ASW - 10 is mighty fine at its price and does slightly exceed it response spec.
