My JBL Venue Sub10 won't come off of standyby. I tried troubleshooting multiple techniques, even plugging it into my old receiver, and now am realizing that I may need a new sub. I have had my JBL for several years though the last 6 it hasn't seen any use and I need some advice on getting a new one that will replicate the JBL, it worked well for me.

I would like to keep the price down as much as possible with the closest specs to the JBL. Any advice would be much appreciated.
My room spec if needed:
20' x 12'. The TV is centered in a 2.5' x 10' alcove facing almost centered my prmary seat that is roughly 10' from me, I could probally use an alcove corner to enhance the sub but I currently have a small 6' sub that I have facing out towards the 20' length of the room.
Thanks
