New speaker enthusiast

Got the Onkyo tx-nr686 on a BF deal from best buy.
and the DCM 7.0 setup which includes one pair of TP-260, two pairs of TS-160S for surround and rear and one TP-160C for center. Pricedrightsales have 10% OFF as part of they BF deal so thats some savings on an already good closeout deal.
12 gauge AWG DS-18 speaker wire.
Any thoughts on my new setup? I found this forum after I placed my order. I wish I did before.

Very nice! I don't think you could do any better for the money. I have a pair of the TP160S' I recently purchased. I don't need them but I couldn't say no at that price. I'm very impressed with what I've been hearing. I'd love to check out the TP260s you got but they're a bit more than I want to spend on a whim, lol.

Any good thread in the forum which provides placement/setup tips for dummies? I understand the basics but I would like to checkout what the experts say.

Congrats on that speaker set, zieglj01 has been high on these as well as Pogre and some others....I'm tempted but have way too many speakers now.

Thanks. Not right away as I got the towers. That will be a slow upgrade, maybe 6 months to a year out
