Installing a new system in the work shop. 25ft deep x 16ft wide, mostly open floor space. System will be used 99% of the time for music. Only other time the system is used is for watching college football while in the shop. Considering installing two tower speakers, new receiver, and will eventually replace the current subwoofer (it is working fine now). Starting with the tower speakers with a budget of around $600-700 for a pair, what does anybody recommend? JBL, Klipsch, Polk, …………?

I was short on floor space in my workshop so never considered floor standers and my subs tuck in without taking up too much floor space, all bookshelf speakers (7.2 speaker setup) no longer used in other systems in the house, mounted up high around the room. I use an older avr for power, bought it used (and have a sort of enclosure for it to minimize sawdust getting into things), but I use an older tv out there and no Atmos so no need for a newer avr. I'd probably look for used speakers but JBL, Klipsch and Polk do have offerings in your price range. I have some JBL Studio 5 series (not in the workshop tho), maybe the 580 if you get the occasional deep discount (paid $518 for a set during one of the several deep discount sales that happen each year). Those JBLs everettT posted look interesting, never saw that model before.
