Hello,

I just purchased a new surround sound system from a local retailer. I wasn't looking for anything too high end or out of my means...simply a nice system that will do us well when we watch movies or I play my 360. I was aiming for a set-up that was not entry level, but not super ridiculous either. Please give me your opinions on what I purchased. I read reviews online and I haven't read much negative feedback on the items.

Yamaha rx-v765
DT pro 1000's (2)
DT procenter 1000
DT prosub 1000
Speakercraft AIM 7 Three ceiling speakers (2)

I wanted ceiling speakers over the couch instead of standing rear speakers. I don't think this will affect anything.

Thanks!

I do like the def techs had a listen not to long ago I was impressed by their sound for a sat.speaker and the sub blends well with them. 1? why did you go for the pro center 1000 instead of the 2000. Never audition any of the Speakercraft speakers before. also from what I read the receiver has gotten some good reviews, Congrats and enjoy.
