Hi all, new here.
Been browsing this site a bit for the past couple of days, and will continue searching setup tips and other stickies. I am upgrading my 15 year old pieced together system. I purchased Fluance XL7 front, center, and surrounds. I will be running them with my Onkyo TX-SR505 and some inexpensive Yamaha sub for now. I believe the receiver will just power the speakers. But I will be looking into upgrading in the near future. There are so many options, but I believe I want Denon or Yamaha for under $500. I am not opposed to buying used, but I will probably upgrade to a 4k TV in the future. I am not worried about Dolby Atmos. I am interested in auto calibration. Im interested in options for playing music from my cell phone. I have a PS3, XBOX, Cable, and Chromecast. I use my iPad to stream Netflix to Chromecast, but am open to another way if the receiver can do that, or future smart TV. I utilize my system about 65% cable TV, 15% cable music channels, and 15% BluRay movies, and 5% misc. Let me know if I missed any other features I should be looking for, or if I missed saying I need or not. Thanks all!
