I am looking at a new receiver and after auditioning quite a few have narrowed it down to the Yamaha RX-V2060 and the Pioneer SC-LX501. I will be using them to drive a 5.1 system with possible expansion in the future but nothing planned yet, I just don't want to need a new receiver when/if I do. I like the sound of both receivers and prefer them both to Marantz/Denon (personal preference) but only have experience with Yamaha in a long-term way with a receiver I've been using for 20 years at this point so would be new to Pioneer.
I'm curious if people have experience with both and have an opinion on one vs the other.
