I have a friend who would like to get a receiver and Cd player for under a thousands $$$, I have the RX-V1600 Yamaha receiver, what a great receiver through and through. He's very new into hometheater and would like to start out very slowly
. I recommend that he go with the RX-V1700 (
I can get it for $1050) and add the others components one by one as he grows with the techology. As for the Cd player any recommendations?? Thanks for any help you all can give..
