To cut short - new build house
i have laid speaker cable from plant room to 12 Zones, with Vol Controls in each zone.

I want to control the whole system with Multiple Apple Airport Express's leading to AMP, to each zone.

I have a plan in PDF form but cannot list as I'm new on forum
Please PM me if you might have any answers
Anyone any help??? Will this work?
I have no experience at this at all don't even know what type of Amp or speakers to buy.....

Is your plan to get 12 of the AirPort Expresses? Or just one and share it across all 12 rooms?

The recommendation for an amplifier, from me, would be at the very least a 12 channel amplifier via eBay similar to this:
Niles SI-1230 12 Channel Amplifier (760514007376) | eBay

If your intent is to have 12 separate zones with the potential for different audio, then you will need to explain more of what that goal is.

With that amplifier and one Airport, you can send audio out to 12 rooms. Once source, 12 matching, identical, destinations.

If you want more sources, and more flexibility, then you will need an audio matrix switcher ahead of at least 24 channels of amplification, which works fine, but will cost a bit more.

Never thought about that ! - i'll only need 1 Airport Express.
What speakers would i need to run off an AMP like this?

All but 6 of mine will be Ceiling Speakers, going for Wall Mounted in the main family area where most listening will be done.

The amp I linked in my first post is similar to what is linked above. There are far better ways to give you 'multi-source' capabilties if you want it.

For speakers, I would go with these for in-ceiling:
For only $54.67 each when QTY 50+ purchased - 8 Inches Kevlar 2-Way In-Ceiling Speakers (Pair) - 80W Nominal, 160W Max | 8 Inches In-Wall / In-Ceiling Speakers

At about $80 a pair shipped to your home, they sound excellent and are ideal for backround audio.

They also have 8" in-walls available...
