Was Glad To See The New Panasonic Plasma Displays Have Finally Arrived In Stores For Viewing, Nice Display But Did Not Notice Much Difference Over Last Years Models, However; The List Price Was $500 Less --- More For Less, The Same For Less or less for less? Had Hoped It Would Be A 1080p Display But Alas It Was Not.
Does Anyone Know If Pioneers New Models Will Be Out Soon, Will They Be 1080p And Are They Likely To Show A Price Decrease?

Woooo!!!! Certainly A Case Of More For More, A Lot More At That! Does It Seem That Lcd Technology Is Now On The Heels Of Plasma With Regards To Picture Quality In that There Are Many New Models Being Introduced That Are 1080p, Refresh Rates ,contrast And Black Levels Are Improving. These Lcd Panels Are Being Offered In The 40" Range While Being Competitively Priced With Similarly Sized Plasmas. Will 1080p Plasma Panels Ever Be Produced That Can Be Competitive With These New Lcd's?

The diffference is there, the black level is much better and the color level is more vibrant. But as for as the resolution it's still the same. Panasonic will introduce is 58" 1080p plasma in June as well....I think think price was around $5800.

Really do like the panasonic panels and would like to have one for many years without feeling the need to upgrade, hence the desire for 1080p. have read many posts about their commercial panels: TH-42/50PHD8UK ALL VERY FAVORABLE, many times even more so than thier consumer panels. Have these units been in existance for awhile? Are they do for an upgrade to 1080p? Or is this unlikely for a commercial panel?

As long as there is a market for the Panasonic 1080p commerical, they'll make them....I think you'll see it happen!
