this is the new house we will be moving into. the room is 24x16 with cathedral ceilings. I am assuming my boston pv1000 wont be enough to power this room. I am trying to sell the boston and pick up an svs. possibly maybe add an svs with the boston? i was thinking SVS pb12 nsd.
Also i am going to hang my axiom QS8s on the left hand wall towards the top of the wall (that is the wall on the left hand side of the pic on the wall adjacent to the fireplace wall, the tv and audio rack will be on the far right.)

Nice place. I'll bet you're excited. If it really is as big as it looks, a monster sub or two would be a nice addition.

Looks like a real nice house and that is a pretty large room. It was nice of the architect to put the fireplace on the side wall instead of on the main wall where the TV goes! :)

No doubt - I hate when they do that. Back when we were shopping for a house, every living room we walked into the only thing I kept thinking was "Okay, how will I set up the HT?" :D It was an enormous factor - and I can't begin to tell how many fireplaces got in the way of such plans. :)

To the OP: Nice house! I am sure you are excited - be sure to keep us updated with some pics as you get everything in place!

thanks guys, i cant wait to move in. It will be ready Aug/Sept. Every house we looked at I thought the same exact thing. I would say to myself "okay, where would put all my equipment? is there enough room in here for the TV rack and subs"? I hate it when I would walk in and see a fireplace then a plasma tv right above it on the wall, right away i would be turned off. The moment we walked in to see these houses i loved the setup.
