New house, New Home Theatre

Hey all,

Well I know how you all love checking out members' systems, so I figured I'd share some pics of my new setup. The equipment is nothing out of this world. Budget stuff mostly, But hey I'm pleased with it.

Setup consists of-

Receiver - Pioneer 1014TX
Dvd - Samsung Dvd-HD860
HDTV- Samsung 56 inch DLP
Directv HD
Xbox 360
Mains - Polk R50
Center - Polk CSI3
Surrounds - Polk R50
Sub - Harmon Kardon 10 inch Sub

The furniture layout is one of the things I'm still working on. As you can see in the pics, My right surround is pretty much hidden because of the sofa there. If anyone can provide any ideas of improving my layout, please feel free. I was thinking about raising the speakers, but it might look a tad silly. I think I might go ahead and purchase some R15's (Bookshelves) for the surrounds, as I could easily raise those with a proper stand.

Wow, what a beautiful room!

One gripe, move the front towers closer to the TV. Other then that, looking good.

You need to think differently. Don't move the towers closer to the TV. Buy a bigger TV that makes it closer to the towers

Towers or not the rears are still hidden or blocked!Go with bookshelf as mentioned either on stands or shelving unit?
