New house build means dedicated HOME THEATER

Hello all,

I'm building a new house on acreage, and am looking for input on making an acoustically accurate home theater and audio screening room. I have all the tools necessary to complete said project. Custom timber from our mill, all wood tooling for speakers etc. even an excavator to dig the foundation to a custom spec. I am looking for real world advice with real world results, and not $1000/ft speaker cable. I'd rather spend the money on a projector screen etc. I'd like to start with shapes and wall composition and baffling etc. Concrete will be the medium for the initial walls floor and ceiling. Any shape is possible.

Thanks in advance,

Don't look at his equipment just the room. I think the room design had some input from experts.
By the way, will this building be attached or detached? Why all the concrete?

The idea was to place the theater in the basement, where no windows are required, and sound attenuation would be easier if 3 of the sides faced the soil, and would of course be concrete walls and floor. Attached building, in the basement. Is there a benefit for a detached building?

Will give that link a look, thanks. I normally research too much, but wanted to get a push in the right direction.

I built a dedicated HT in my new house. Started with bare concrete walls on 3 sides. Search my posts and you will see a lot of the process I went through plus some of my posts to other people when they were going through the process.

Hard to do details now as I am typing on my iPad.
