new denon avr x6500h

Hi to all denon owners! i own denon x6400h and wondering whats the big deal about the new line that coming out now x6500h ,i've heard i-max sound and other minor changes where i really dont see the reason to spend 700$ more then 6400 model! unless 2 fans for cooling is one of the reason ?i'm still thinking to switch it to 6500 model because i bought mine around 45 days ago for 1950$ and abt elektronics wants to be nice and switch it for me when they get shipped for 250 extra to get the new model ,only if is worth it upgrading???

Personally I would keep your 6400, unless you always need the latest and greatest, even if there are only marginal improvements.

Looking via the comparison tool on the Denon site the most significant difference seems to be the HDR/HLG/Dolby Vision feature listed for the 6500. Other than that I saw the 6500 has only one trigger vs the two on the 6400. Some minor power consumption differences. Funny the IMAX enhanced was not shown for either model. Then again the Denon site isn't getting everything right consistently either.

I read somewhere that imax will come later via firmware update. Maybe they quit advertising it since its not ready yet?
