We are building a new training center at my work.
Training/Conference/Movie Room will be 30x40. However the back 8 Feet will be an open kitchen area. so 30x32 is more accurate. The set-up i have decided to go with is:
Epson 5030uB Projector
Da-Lite 119" Fixed Screen
Denon AVR-X4000
3 Klipsch R-5502-W For FRL
2 Klipsch R-5650-S II for Surround Side
2 Klipsch R-1650-W for Surround back (might upgrade these depending on budget)
Velodyne sc-600iw Subwoofer (Do I need 2 subs?)
Denon Blu-Ray
Harmony Ultimate
2 Outdoor Klipsch speakers
This room will be used for any meetings we have for work and powerpoint presentations.
My workplace is in a small community and we are the largest employer so we want to start doing a "Movie Night" and have a place for employees to watch football/sports games.
Also,
We will have a 18x20 classroom. All i have for this so far is:
Sharp 65" LED TV
1 Definitive Technology 6.5 Di Center channel
2 Definitive Technology UIW55 Front R& L
My questions....
What are your overall thoughts of my selection so far?
What would you do different?
What receiver should i use in the classroom? (only 3 Speakers) and might use 2nd zone. Pioneer elite VSX-44?
I got a good deal on the Klipsch/Denon speaker package and i have Klipsch and Denon at home and am very happy with my products.
Receiver has GREAT reviews. and i know its not a business projector but from what i read it will do all i need it to do and do it very well.
The Dipole Klipsch speakers seemed like the right choice for such a big room.
I know the surround backs are cheap speakers but i got both for $100... If i do upgrade i might put them in the bathrooms from the 2nd zone on the classroom setup.
I want to say money is not an option but i do have to be somewhat respectful and be able to explain why i'm getting what i'm getting. So keep that in mind if there is anything you think i should add.
