I have always had a strange affinity for 90's Canadian rock bands (Matthew Good [Band], early Nickelback - new stuff/attitude/ego not so much, Our Lady Peace, etc.). One of the lesser known acts down here in the US that I enjoyed was the Ian Thornley band Big Wreck, who, after a couple albums and lineup changes, morphed in to Thornley.
Anyway a new Thornley album came out last week, after quite a few years, and I can say after a first listen that it is almost as enjoyable as his previous efforts. I will have to listen to it a few more times to organize and express my thoughts on it in more detail, but it is pretty good, straightforward rock. I would recommend giving it a listen if you are into that sort of thing
