New Avr not powering on

Hello Experts


I just got my new reciever and I tried to set it up I followed the instructions and hooked everything up power the unit on and the light flashes a couple of times and nothing happens. I read in the manual and it says something about the unit running hot. The unit is not hot and I dont even here it powering on if any body experience anything like this please let me know

Dude, try unplugging everything then power it on. Does it turn on? Yes, then plug in item by item and find out what is causing the issue. Prolly something really simple

at a loss

I have tried that I am using two opticals I have unplugged the speakers the sub and the opticals the reciever turns on the power indicator flashes and it comes on but no display nothing even tried unplugging the receiver. to tell you the truth I don't think this is really on the bad thing is it has taken the vendor 4 weeks to get me the reciever so who knows how long it will take if I have to send it back

Sry mate sounds like bunk AVR =( If it wont power up with nothing plugged in, makes me wonder...
