New av123.com site

I just found out about the new av123.com site that is launching today. I'm genuinely curious as to how it's gonna turn out!

Last I checked, it was down.

I just hope their not using the old restaurant trick...you know...new menu means higher prices somewhere!

It worked for me. The new site looks nice, definitely updated. I like the system builder function they added, similar to others I've seen. I didn't get so far as to check all the prices though - just kind of clicked around randomly.

I too, hope this doesn't mean an increase in the price.

Try to clear your IE/Mozilla cache. Close it and restart it.

I still get the old site after clearing everything.
I read something that it may take a few days for the new site to start appearing due to registering the new address and servers updating.

Well if they simply changed their DNS to point to a new site at a new IP address as their method of "changing" the site, then it can take up to a day or so for everyone out there to get the new site.

Someone who is seeing the new site can give us a hand by doing this:

click start, hit run
type cmd and hit enter
type "ping av123.com" and press enter
report to us the IP address you see

If anyone else is curious I added this line to my C:\windows\system32\drivers\etc\hosts file:

75.126.128.173 av123.com

Now I get the new site.
