I am currently running an emotiva Xsp-1 pre amp with an emotiva Xpa-2 gen 3 amp. I have recently acquired an additional Xpa-2 gen 3 amplifier. My current amplifier is connected to a pair of Q-Acoustic 3050 speakers. My question is, what is the best way to incorporate the second Xpa-2 into the system.

What's your full set up? Just a 2.0?

You cannot Bi-amp (not that you should , either) the 3050is, so that is not an option.

In which case, sit on it in reserve in case your first Amp dies. Or, build a second system. Or... That's about it. You cannot add it to your current 2.x system, though.

You need to buy it a new pair of speakers for another room! Or go surround perhaps....

How do you incorporate a second amp into a 2 channel system with a stereo preamp? You don't. You use the amp in another system or get a multichannel receiver/preamp and use it for additional speakers.
