Just totally stoked.
This thing is just amazing with my speakers. It takes them to new places. I haven't yet watched a move. I got several 7.1 ones to try out that. But right now I'm enjoying the music. You can tell they did some good audio engineering on this model. If you are in the market for a receiver I can say the Onkyo 705 fits the bill for a mid range system. It's very good at helping the midrange on the Infinity Beta's. An area of weakness on my previous amp. This thing was built for home theater so I can't wait to try that out. After a few movies i will give it a full review with my impressions. I still think the best thing to do is check it out yourself if you are shopping.
But I have to get to bed long day tomorrow with Grad School + Work.
It's amazing how a good sound system renews ones love for music. I can remember having some good vintages back in the day they got old and they started putting black stuff on the carpet, but before that they were amazing.
I can't imagine what this receiver is going to do with my eggs.
