new amp

I currently have the Onkyo nr801 with rated power of 100wpc and I'm thinking of adding an amp. Do you think if I add the behringer a500 to the mix that it will make a significant difference? I've always been told the more power the better. Will I be able to use the amplifier in ht? Should I have multiple amps, one for the mains, one for the rears and one for the center. I've learned alot from my AH family and I appreciate all the input. Thanks alot.

This might depend on speaker impedance, sensitivity and your appetite for loud to very loud playback levels

8ohm, 90db's and 150 watts. My anniversary is coming up and my birthday, so maybe I can get 2 A500's. What will be the best sinerio? I think I'm hooked on this home audio/theater thing and I've been learning alot thanks to all of you. Basically I'm trying to get my set-up to perform at its peak level. I've calibrated everthing as recommended by my AH family(AVIA dvd and meter) My wife told me there is no need to go to the movies ever again. Please tell me how you would recommend that I set everything up and how many A500's to get. Thanks again.

With those speakers, I seriously doubt you will benefit from an add on amp, even that A500
