New Amp and Speakers

Hi All,
Im acutally in Australia, I have just purchased a set of Speakers, called Accusound (www.accusound.com.au). Bought the Delta range (The bigger ones, the 895's, the 525's and the 165 centre with the sw250 sub)

They are aussie speakers and are actually quite nice to listen to. Did not plan on buying them but as soon as I heard them, They sounded pretty much perfect.

I also bought myself an Onkyo TX-SR603 amp. I have had a few onkyo's in the past and for the price range, its a very nice amplifier.

Im setting it up in my new home which is prewired so I wont get to listen to them for another 3-4 weeks. Was wondering if anyone else has bought this amp, since there is no review on it, has anyone got this setup, or just the amp and how do yo find it.

Accusound deltas

hey buddy,

i have the same fronts, centre and sub to you. I also have four 525's and am picking up an onkyo 805 receiver in the next few days.. How do your speakers sound in that setup? particularly the centre speaker? how long did it take to break in and did it sound better after? My center and two of my rears are brand new, i picked them up cheap from accusound as i wanted to match the rest of my system.

Oh my speakers sound so sweet in this setup. I had to play with the amp and sub and centre speaker to get it just right. I had to turn up the centre speaker a notch or two, and i turned down the phase on the sub all the way and let the amp handle it at 80hz. I hardly have to the volume on my sub at all for it to shake my house.

I broke the speakers in over a 48hr period. Maybe a little longer than reccomneded but I wanted to do it properly. I think they reccomend to play radio or just static on a really low volume. Read up on breaking them in. You really should get them broken in nice for an awsome sound. I love accusound.
