Looking to get a new TV for the living room. This will be the secondary TV as I have a dedicated HT in the basement (w/ 106" HD projection) - more for everyday viewing. We have a built in recess in our wall for the TV to sit (i.e. therefore the flat issue is moot - the TV can have depth and does not need to hang on a wall).
So being the secondary TV, cost is a significant factor as is the "sell job" to the spousal unit. TV width needs to be under 52" to fit in the recess (equates to 56"-57" with slim bevel).
Onecall is having a 24 month no-finance on TV's, so of course I cruise through the offerings and find the
Samsung HL56A650 DLP.
Wondering if anyone has any experience with it. Haven't found any professional or site reviews (only individual reviews). Figured with the financing it would be softer on the wallet and the size will fit in the recess.
