Hi i just bought a Philips Plasma 50" 50PF9956 which is the latest offerings from philips in the plasma range for 2004. Pretty much all the philips plasmas models for 2004 maintain the same quality including 42Pf9956 50pf9966 50pf9986 including the ambient light.
Persoanlly i love the picture and its one of the best plasmas i have seen around here. Pioneer and Philips go head to head in quality imho.
