Although I am not new to computers (used them since the 80's) I could not figure out how to delete a thread, so I just modified it to make it a monologue.
I was looking at preamps with XLR outputs to start changing my stereo setup to home theater.
(my starter setup is Magnepan 3.7s and CCR with two JL audio F110 subs and an Audio Research DS450. Will add amps and surround speakers soon)
After watching the reviews and coming across an open box Yamaha at an online dealer, got it for 15% off and went for it.
