Netflix announces new plan: multiple streams

I actually did not know you were permitted two streams per account on the standard plan, presumably because they realize people have more than one device. It is no secret that people share passwords too, however they've sort of controlled that by allowing a limited number of simultaneous logins. The new plan says you can pay a bit more per month and get FOUR simultaneous streams. Interesting. I could cancel my parents plan and just add the additional lines for less than the price of two... "Family share plan" LOL.

Ah, if only could stream at all. I have a blu ray account with netflix and they keep giving me free streams. I can't take advantage of them. It's a shame.

Didn't they used to include 3 streams in the base streaming plan?

Certainly a good move in the long run for Netflix. Mr. Hastings finally has his ship organized and ready to steam ahead.
