Need urgent help...deciding on KEF HTS setup

Well the KEF KHT2005.2 setup is one of the first real high end sounds setups I've ever heard. I absolutely loved them a few years ago and still love them today. They're small...which is a plus as I live in an apartment. My only concern is the lack of low end extension. The HTS2001.2 sattelites only go down to about 80Hz which isn't as low as bigger bookshelves generally hitting aroud 50Hz. However...if I were to replace the KEF sub with an SVS PB-10ISD do you think I will have a problem with the lack of midbass? Shouldn't the PB-10 be able to make up for the midbass the sattelites lack?

Any opinions are greatly appreciated...I have to make a decision this week whether to get the KEFs for cheap($500ish) or not.

The SVS probably has a flatter response than the KEF, and starts dropping off at about 90Hz with a gentle slope. The KEF satellites should probably be X-over at 100-120Hz. The SVS would be the better choice.

Thank you. Are there any other subs you would recommend to help compensate for the lack of midbass from the KEFs?
