Need to find an amp

Another option for a near-$200 receiver is the Yamaha 363. I didn't compare specs between the two, but one thing is that the Yamaha is 100W/channel (into 5 channels, not 7 channels like the Onkyo). Another thing is that the AH store has the Yamaha for $199 - 15% = $169 with free shipping until the end of the month. The coupon code to use for the discount is "NUT15".

I've never ordered from them, so I won't give any opinion either way on if you should choose them over Amazon or anyone else. It just seems like a nice receiver for the money.

If this is for 2ch only why not just get an HK 3480 or an equivalent Denon or Yamaha 2ch receiver? The HK is a high current amp and delivers a lot of power for the price. Since the new xx90 models are out you can find the 80 or 85 models for cheap online and it also comes with a phono preamp for your TT. If you want a pure analog system then look into a used NAD as those will be able to handle the Epos with ease.

Edit: Here is a NAD C325BEE for $260 on audiogon

If you don't have a pre-amp, I would take a look at the Onkyo tx-8522. Its rated at 100W/ch. and has powered my Paradigm bookshelves satisfactorily. I got one for about $140, not sure what the current rate is. I can't directly compare it to NAD or Cambridge but I would think it's worth a look considering your budget.
