Hi all. I recently got a Samsung 52 inch 760 series LCD. I have a Fios HD Cable and plan to get a PS3 as a blueray disc player. I need to get a either a HTIB or a receiver and separate set of speakers. After some research, I finally understand the HDMI business.... I hope. Basically, I need some suggestions on HTIB or receivers with HDMI repeater architecture. I know a few like Onkyo HT series 6100 or higher supports it. I need some more suggestions. My budget is about 500 bucks for both receiver and speakers....
(I basically want to connect devices only using HDMI cable.)
I would like to stick to HDMI 1.3 if possible. Don't ask me why... I won't be able to answer that coherently...
