Need Tech help with Audio Problem: Denon AVR-5803

Having a problem with my 5803. When I turn my TV, Cable Box and 5803 on, I don't get audio, even though the unit powers up just fine. If I reach around and unplug the receiver, then plug it back in, the audio comes on...go figure! Any clues as to what might be the problem?

Looking Through The Site And Found This.sounds Simular To My Problem.the Power Button Does Not Always Work.if I Unplug The Ac Cord And Plug It Back In Then The Button Works.i Tried The Processor Reset And That Did Not Fix The Problem.the Receiver Works Fine When On.the Power Switch Works So It Must Be A Logic Problem On One Of The Boards?

Do you by chance have HDMI also connected? That can be an issue of which component gets turned on when. Why not try to turn on the receiver last and see what happens?
