Not having purchased speakers in a while, I would have thought this would be a cinch. But after scouring the web, I'm not so sure.
I want a pair of small, inexpensive surround speakers--say, $200 for the pair--that will hang (with brackets, if necessary) on the side walls behind me so that they're pointing into the room toward my ears.
Now, here's the kicker. My wife absolutely insists that the outside of the speakers consist of some sort of wood grain...not black, not silver, not white. Actually, this didn't seem like an outlandish request to me until I started looking and was shocked to discover that it seems most manufacturers have forgotten about any shade other than black and silver and white.
Can anyone offer a specific suggestion and maybe a good web site where to find the speakers in question so I can see what they look like?
This has turned out to be a lot harder than I thought it would be.
