Need surround speaker advice

:confused:Greetings all:
I need some advice...
I have Dali Euphonia MS4 mains, CS4 center, driven by a Denon 4308Ci receiver. My room is 20X13X8 ft. I am looking for decent surrounds, that will NOT break the bank, and will be reasonably small/unobtrusive. I currently have Dali Ikon 1's on tables in the rear, and they are just too big. I am considering Mirage Nanosats, or Kef CI30DS in-walls.

I have no problems installing, or running wire.
I am concerned about the in-wall route, as it is rather permanent. What if I put them in the wrong place??
Also, I may do a 7.1 soon.

Does anyone have experience with either of these?
Any thoughts?

Much appreciated...
Billman

Obviously, these won't be a perfect timbral match, but that is much less important with surround speakers than having a seemless match across the front :)

Your Dali's are great speakers and pairing them with the Mirage Nanosats for surrounds is a mistake in my opinion. They have entirely different sound signatures, but I understand that their size may be appealing to you. Although I'm not personally a fan of in-wall speakers, the KEF's would match better IMO.

How about introducing a slightly smaller monitor/compact/bookshelf speaker?

Also consider the Energy RC-Mini. They are very small, decent performing and come in some quite nice finishes. They can easily be wall mounted or sit discretely on a table.

Thanks John.
I am open to suggestions!
I am looking at the Emotiva ERD-1's, and considering DefTech Pro Monitors.
If I can convince my wife, the Emotiva's are looking good!

How small is small. The Axiom QS4/8s are great surrounds, but you may think them too big.
