Gentlemen - I have been browsing these forums for abotu a week now, and had to chime in to get some feedback.
I just purchased the new Panasonix PX-500U plasma TV, which is the replacement for the 7th gen XVS series.
I am in the market for a new A/V receiver ot go along with it, as it's time I graduated from this 6 yr old Sony HTIB set up I have.
I can justify spending up to about $1,300 for it, and have been considering the Denon 3805, Denon 3806, as well as the H/K 7300 (AND ANYTHING ELSE YOU GUYS MIGHT SUGGEST!). I obviously don't need to spend money just to spend it, but again, would go up to that price if need be.
Do any of you guys know anything about the H/K 7300? This one is the only one I don't know much about, so I was hoping ot get some feedback on it. I was also considering Onkyo, Yamaha, and have been hearing a bit from y'all about Outlaw's products.
Boys, just give it to me straight. What would you guys get to pair up with this plasma and as an overall upgrade which I could grow into.
ADDITIONALLY, I will be upgrading with a speaker package next (in Dec/Jan), and again, would have about $1,500 (+/- 200) to spend, and am wide open on that too. I was considering Mirage Omnisat, also liked that Mirage Unisat, but am wide open to suggestion, as I am loooking for a P4P best for my money.
