Need suggestions for a tv stand

I will be moving soon and will need a tv stand. I have a Samsung 50" HL-R5067W DLP. So far the only tv stand I have found that would fit the size for that tv the best for a reasonable price is the Tech Craft DLP48X. The tv is 46" wide, and about 14.1" deep, so I don't need anything really big, and I want to try to keep the price to no more than $200 shipped if possible. Is there anything better out there for that price? I would also not want to get a stand that's too much bigger than the tv, but I would consider something a little larger just in case I upgrade to a larger tv at some point, but I highly doubt that will be happening any time soon.

You might want to check out http://www.racksandstands.com and http://www.standsandmounts.com for ideas. A $200 budget will be somewhat limiting though.

Another alternative is actually furniture stores. I bought a wood TV stand that is 64" wide and 24" tall with 6 openings for components and it was only $300. A 46" TV will fit perfectly on it with just a small amount of space on either side of the TV.

I would caution you to measure carefully. There are lots of companies that make what they call 'audio furniture' but make the shelves too narrow or too shallow to hold a normal 17" wide receiver and still allow adequate ventilation. Another consideration is whether you can use one of the shelves to hold the center channel speaker below the TV or will have to look for alternatives like mounting a shelf on the wall above the TV (my current predicament).

I'm gonna have to put my center channel below the tv on one of the shelves, but I need to measure how tall it is first. It's the Polk Audio CS2, I know it measures 7.75" tall, but it is made so you can angle it up in the event it sits low to the ground, so I need to measure how tall it is once it's angled up. All of my other equipment will be going in a cabinet that my parents are giving me, it's just sitting in the garage waiting to be moved into my place.

I may have to look at some furniture stores too, thats a good idea.
