Recently made a impulse buy on a HK 1610 receiver. So far, sounds alright but I feel my speakers are lacking. I upgrade from a Philips HTIB, that to me, didn't sound that bad.
Current setup-
HK AVR1610
Kenwood JL 507 - L/R
Jamo S 420 Cen - Center
Jamo S 420 Sur - Surround
Polk PSW108 sub
Looking at speakers for my receiver. Mainly left, center and right and down the road upgrade my surrounds. There are many types and brands of speakers. Without having any good audio stores around me (I guess there's a Best Buy Magnolia not far from me) it's hard to buy without having hearing anything.
Budget is around $900-$1200
I've reached out on another forum, but I keep getting the same brand (infinity primus) offered. Just looking for a different opinion.
