Need speaker buying advice for 2 channel audio

I'm looking for a small pair of speakers to be used as computer speakers. Budget is $300.00 and I'm leaning towards the Audioengine P4 paired with a T-amp. I'll consider a powered 2.1 system, however, I do not want to sacrifice an excellent mid-range for more bass extension. All suggestions welcome!

Welcome,I would say the Behringer 2030p is your best bet.I have listened to the Audioengine's before and the Behringers smoke them and are very cheap for such a hi quality speaker.You could pair it with a Dayton sub for less then $150 and bam you got a nice little 2 channel setup.

I haven't listened to Audioengine's, but some folks here have A5 and love them.
2030p are great speakers, but hardly small and require amp :D (2030a not as good as 2030p)
