Need some serious advice on setup

I'm resurrecting some of my older equip and will be trying to integrate it into my newer AVR set up to streamine things a bit. Previously I had my turntable set up with just the Parasound 2100 Preamp and an Adcom GFA-5300 amp powering a set of Pinnacle Golds. This was a stand alone setup for the sole use of my turntable. It sounds stellar and I absolutely love it. I'm more of an audio listener than movie guy, but I'd also like to dabble in SACD so I'll need to run that through my AVR.
My 7.1 AV set up consists of a Yamaha RX-A870 with an Oppo DV-980H, Canton Center/Surrounds, Definitive Sub.
I'm debating:
-Should I ditch the Parasound/Adcom set up and just run the turntable through the Yamaha
-Should I keep the turntable set up separate
-How the hell can I get this all to work together and still sound good
-Can I ditch the Canton front speakers and just run my front Pinnacle Gold towers as front surrounds/mains

I know Im all over the place here. My goal is to streamline the two systems and still keep my turntable sounding as it does now and to use my Pinnacle towers for surround and 2.0 or 2.1 listening. I included a pic of the components I have. The AudioSource amp in the pics is just an extra I had and isnt being use in any of my systems.

More a matter of preference. Your Yamaha does have it's own phono stage built in so you can use the tt with the Yamaha altho it may not result in the same "sound". The Yamaha has pre-outs so you could continue to use your power amp with the Yamaha. You could look at the bypass options in your Parasound 2100. You could use your old mains instead of the new but may not mix well with the center (and believe with the bypass option you could also use both sets of mains).

You need to investigate your speakers efficiency vs the ability of your Yamaha AVR.
The A860 (which is likely very similar to your A870) commits a "double sin" of having a weak amp section and less than optimal pre-outs.
Hopefully, there are guys here who can advise you on how well your AVR will work with your specific speakers and power amp.

The following comes from the "Suggestions for Improvement" section of the review:
While the RX-A860 is fine driving small bass-managed 8 ohm speakers, this is the first time I'd actually caution people against using 4 ohm speakers or even running 8 ohm tower speakers on the “large” setting. I’ve never said this about a Yamaha before. It's sad that a $400 predecessor from the very same company offered a more robust amp and power section than this product, which has AVENTAGE moniker stamped on it. To pour further salt on the power wound, the preamp out section of this receiver is a bit weak, making it critical to match with a high gain amplifier to ensure the preamp itself doesn't clip while driving external amplification. I'd like to see Yamaha beef up the amp section so the current limiting could be a little less restrictive and for God's sake, please give us a clean 2Vrms output from the pre-outs of ALL your AV receivers!

One of the factors is how loud you enjoy the music as well. Also SACD does have significant content in the surrounds.

@PENG would know how to calculate it. :)

Thanks for your input guys. The Parasound preamp seems pretty versatile but I just cant wrap my head around how to get this to work.

"This" seems to be up in the air, tho :) Start with speakers. Do you want to continue to use your old speakers for 2ch plus use your Cantons surround sound? Although that's a lot of speakers some like to do it. Other consideration of course is simply have a separate room for your vinyl/2ch listening. Do you understand the bypass options okay in the Parasound?

I'm a little fuzzy on the bypass options. I have a feeling thats one of the keys of integration.

Still have to chose on speakers somewhat. I think the Parasound allows either pair of L/R speakers depending on use, but will have to reread it....just glanced to see if it had such a bypass option.
