Hello all-
Mostly a newbie...upgraded from HTIB to Onkyo SR602 and Bose Acoustimass + Polk Center Channel.
Having following, bizarre issues that only occur with TV feed and or Music CDs:
-At times when female broadcaster (or someone with high-pitched voice) is on..the center channel crackles or has static - Treble is down, Bass is up...switched between Bose Center and Polk and still happens...
-Also happens with Music CDs played in DVD/CD player..
Have tried the following:
-Swapping audio cables from DVD to Receiver
-Re-doing Onkyo auto set up
No luck...any help/ideas? Bought ready to put a hammer through it all...
Notes - DVD is simply new $85 Sony that should play CD/DVD
TV is 50" Samsung DLP
Have both TIVO Samsung Sat receiver and HD Samsung receiver
