I have a chance to buy a pair of nht superones or monitor audio s1's for the same price.I plan o using these as surround speakers.Which would you choose and why?

I assume you mean 2nd hand? These not even in same price league. Get the MA S1 due to much better finish and bass extension.

Superones - depends on how old - some old ones (circa 2002 - weren't that great)

No doubt the MA S1's get my vote it's an all around solid product. The Superones come with cheaper paper cone woofers and soft material for the tweeters, it's written all over its price.
