I'm sure this is a simple setting somewhere but I'll be damned if I can figure it out.
I switched from Direct TV to Cable, unplugged the DTV HDMI, plugged it into the cable DVR box (a Motorola DCX3400) and whilst I get video on the monitor, there is no audio going through the surround sound speakers. I've tried three different HDMI cables with the same result and each cable works fine for video and sound on the X-Box.
There is one HDMI connection from the Denon receiver to the TV, and XBox 360 works on it great, but not the cable TV signal.
If I plug in the HDMI from the cable box to the TV, I get video and sound, but only through the TV speakers.
Still working through editing the MX950 programming the macros, etc, but that's another post for another day.
Any help would be greatly appreciated!
