Hello all !!
I currently own the foll set up:
Marantz CD 7300
Marantz PM 7200 amp
Dyn 122s

I somehow think the effect is still very bright and when I posted a thread in another section of this forum here I got a recommendation to upload pics of my room and get some advice.

Please let me know your suggestions. I have uploaded the snaps here.

Thanks,
Ananth

Is that a tile floor in the room? If so, a rug on the floor between you and the Dyns will help that a bit. Not just reflections but tame the hard floor somewhat.

Some additional broadband absorption in the room would also be a benefit.

Nice setup by the way. I have a pair of Dyn Contour 3.3's and love them.

Gotcha on the floor - but it's still a hard surface, not carpet. Sorry - hard to see with these old eyes in the pics.

What I'm referring to is some broadband bass absorbers and potentially some reflection panels. The rug and curtains just absorb high frequencies. Most rooms can benefit from broadband absorption.

broadband bass absorbers and potentially some reflection panels - are these products I can buy in the market?
Or do they have common names?
How and where do I place them?

Please give me more details.

Generally, broadband bass absorbers go in the front corners and centered on the wall behind you. You have restrictions in both of those places (window, door, shelving). The side edges of the front wall would be the next best choice.

Reflection panels are used at first reflection points of the side walls and ceiling. You can find these using a 2nd person and a mirror pretty easily.

Yes - these products are readily available from us and from other companies.
