Hello all. I usually shop around a bit for items, but when I started looking into purchasing a new A/V receiver, I was blown away by the amount of information and the selection available. I don't want to spend more that $400,and I have narrowed it down to the following two receivers:

Denon AVR-1906
Onkyo TX-SR603X

(The Pioneer VSX-1015TX was in the running, but it is too deep for my cabinet)

I'm using a Polk Audio RM6750BK 5.1 speaker system.

Any thought on these two receivers, or any other receivers to consider in this price range? Thanks in advance.

Other options . . .

I am happy with my purchase of the Yamaha HTR-5860 receiver. You should be able to find it for about $350 or less. You cold also probably pick up a HK AVR-235 in your price range. The denon and Onkyo model you list are pretty comparable options. Pick the one with the features you need.

You mentioned cabinet restrictions. Keep in mind that all of these receivers require good circulation and recommend at least a couple inches on the sides and above the receiver.
