Newbe looking at SVS cylinder sub or trying to find small guy that will fit the bill like RBH s -8

I need a sub for my 12x 12 bar area and placement

Option 1
In corner behind the door that goes from kitchen to bar , it can be tall but 14 w x 14 L inch is my size limit , or cylinder

Option 2
A cylinder sub other side in corner on same wall no door
sub will be paired with emp w35 on walls or RBH MC - aw6 witch ever sound the best

most of time zone 1 and 2 are playing audio together , 2 turned off for movies

I will be using 1 or hopefully 2 HSsU VFT MK5 subs 15 to 20 feet away in open wall room ,zone 1 where Ht and big kid stuff is, in 14 x 20 room ,small sub is for zone 2 , is mixing sub brands or sizes bad ju ju ?

FYI Good not great ported book shelf speakers I hook up are almost enough bass but i want punch in chest when turned up and smooth down low and no room for bad boy book shelf speakers

i wish i would have put in floor subs during remodel now to late
cylinder or small sub , whats better ?
any other options or ideas ? Thanks

Two different rooms, different subs won't entirely matter, but if they're playing the same thing it may be noticeable. For output and extension, cylinder will be better than a small sub for sure.

Agreed!

I think you'd be happier with the performance of an SVS PC2000 cylinder sub than anything else, under those conditions. Can you fit a 16" round in that corner?
