Need room layout assistance

My theater room's current setup has one noticeable problem. The right front speaker is blocked largely by a big couch and with the way the windows are in the space I can't have a centered setup. The floorstanders are infinity betas and reasonably heavy. I had thought about making some 12-18" stands for them to be put up on but then I might need to angle them forward to keep the sound from just radiating up to the ceiling and throwing things off. Unfortunately the couch probably needs to remain where it is due to some WAF concerns. I've adjusted the balance to the right to attempt to make up for the sound blocked or absorbed by the couch. If anyone has any other suggestions or think the stand idea would or wouldn't work please let me know.

*edit I forgot to draw the fireplace that's along the left wall so rotating the setup 90degrees to the right isnt an option either unfortunately

The obvious answer is move the couch to the other side of the room. Other than that, nothing is going to fix your issue if the screen and setup have to stay where they are.

Wish there was a better answer.

As they said move the couch. How about putting the couch in front of the projector(move the projector against the wall). I know that eliminates one seating position on the couch but depending on the couch size it might be OK. Then you can move the chairs to the sides. It solves your floor stander problem and might give you more prime seating.

How about this:

I know the couch moved, but maybe you can treat your wife to something nice :D

You may need to build a small prop to lift the projector up from behind the couch :) Or you could move the projector in front of the couch too if you want.

Seriously, I have no life.
Can you hang the projector from the ceiling?
That would solve some of your problems and allows the couch to move.

I believe the WAF will not allow him to make any changes to the setup, so the suggestions might be a futile effort.

If you can't move the couch, move the screen to the left wall. Put some black-out curtains on the windows and hang the projector over the couch. Pretty radical, but it leaves the couch as is. :D
