I have just bought the Aragon 8008x3 and reviews are all favorable, except for the binding posts.

I wanted to know if changing them will make any difference and if so, how hard is it to do it?

What's the problem with them?

Do they audibly degrade the sound?

Binding Posts

Swapping out the binding posts will make ZERO difference sonically bit might have some theraputic value. Only you can decide.

Well, I spent a stupid amount on transparent cables and the review on the Amp says the binding posts are cheap and once he changed them he heard a sonic difference, a big one to boot. I noticed my cables dont go in as far as I would like them to, but all the speakers work, so would speading stupid amount of money on biding posts make a difference?

You seem to be on the way to be spendng a lot of money only to learn that you didn't really have to spend all that much.

Some day, you will learn that some reviews are to be taken with a grain of salt, preferably several, on the edge of a glass filled with tequila.

I don't care what that guy said. Changing binding posts won't affect the sound.

There's a lot of mental masturbation going on here in this hobby, and for pretty much the same reason as it goes on in the real world. It doesn't make a difference, doesn't hurt anyone, and it feels good to do it. The big difference in audio is that some like to brag about how good accomplishing nothing feels and try to get others to join in.

That guy is most likely bordering on legally blind by now.

Can you return the cables?
