Need new Subwoofer advice, My Sony is dead for the last time!

Need new subwoofer recommendation. I have the Sony SA-WX700 and this is the second time it's died within the past three months, it's outta here...Now I must ask...I want something that will sink my gut down into my crotch....That will push my chest in...I want something I can feel in my gut! Alright and with a $300 budget, what would you recommend, I can stretch this budget to $350 max, but that's it, nothing over...I am currently running the Sony STR-K750P, with the BIC Acoustech system...Now all the speakers are BIC Acoustech except for the sub...So...I must ask...What would you guy's recommend...Anything @ Best Buy or Circuit City?

Nothing at BB or CC are going to give you what you're after. Even from internet direct manufacturers $350 won't get you that either. I'd say save a bit and get the SVS PB-10 for $429. That is as good as it is going to get at the price.

I'd also consider the Mirage Omni S12.3 sub, which has good specs and I beileve it was on sale for $400 or $450. I think it was at Amazon and they list it as out of stock currently unfortunately.

Well I went and got the Klipsh Synergy 12" sub from bb with their 4 year service plan...Decided it would be best to do that because it would save me in gas....And I would have a face to talk to instead of a phone rep if something ever went wrong with my sub...
