I finally got a universal remote for my HT and want to stop having to point the remote behind/above me to turn on the projector. Does anyone have suggestions for a good, inexpensive IR repeater/reflector/extender that will send the remote signal from the HT cabinet in front to the projector mounted in the wall behind and above me? All I've seen are the little pyramid-shaped ones that receive the IR signal and send it via RF to another pyramid that sends back out the IR. I can do that, but they're not pretty. Is there a single unit that does this (i.e. a reflector), or I could even do something that receives the IR signal and uses a wire to transfer the signal back to the projector (like the kind that stick to the front of the device). I've only seen those in the expensive, multi-device systems that are beyond what I need (my other components are behind dark glass). Ideally, I'd like to stick the device by my center speaker, that's hidden behind mesh and has ceiling access to the conduit back to my projector, so a wired device would work well, provided the wire is at least 15' or so long.
Suggestions? TIA,
Kevin
